Payments are due on the following schedule:
Initial Deposit: An initial deposit will be required to partially cover expenses for services rendered leading up to your stay dates. The deposit amount is based on your accommodation type, as follows:
Final Balance: The remainder of your balance is due 8 weeks prior to your stay.
Non-Refundable: When you make a reservation, we arrange and issue payments for your accommodations, meals, and transportation. For this reason, we are unable to issue refunds. By reserving your trip, you acknowledge that all payments are non-refundable
As noted above, payments rendered are done so on a non-refundable basis. For this reason, we recommend that you purchase travel insurance, including trip interruption, trip cancellation, medical and evacuation insurance.
In the case of a last-minute cancellation for any reason, these insurances can protect the costs of your trip/flights/accommodations. Please explore potential coverage with various insurance providers. We do not reimburse costs related to your travel (e.g., flight changes, cancellations, accommodations), nor pay for your medical or evacuation needs. Please review the cancellation policy of your airline or travel booking website for flight cancellation details.
Prices include 7 days of accommodations, a 7-day meal plan for each guest, transportation to and from the airport, on-site activities and a 1-hour massage session. For these services you will be billed electronically by JamTravel Enterprises, Inc.
The difference in costs between various options are solely based upon the level of accommodation and room choice.
These prices DO NOT include gratuities, snacks outside of the meal plan, added massages or tour services. Costs associated with these items are payable on-site.
As noted above, we are obligated to arrange for services and pay local vendors for your stay once you make your reservation. For this reason, we are not able to offer refunds. However, your payments will be applied as a Personal Credit to your account under certain conditions, as follows:
If you cancel 8 weeks or more prior to your stay date, your payments will be applied as a Personal Credit on your account which you may use to reschedule at a later time. However, if you reschedule more than twice, a cancellation fee equal to your original deposit amount may be applied even if you cancel more than 8 weeks before your stay.
If you cancel less than 8 weeks but more than 6 weeks prior to your stay, you will be charged a cancellation fee equal to your original deposit amount. Any payments made beyond the original deposit amount will be applied as a Personal Credit on your account.
If you cancel less than 6 weeks prior to your stay date, you will forfeit all payments rendered as a cancellation fee.
Personal Credits will remain on your account for 12 months and are available toward a future stay during this period.
It is the guest’s responsibility to comply with all established Jamaica entry requirements (reference the “International Travel Bans” and the “Epidemics and Pandemics” sections below for further clarification.) If you fail to show or are barred from entering Jamaica for non-compliance with entry requirements, including PCR testing or displaying medical symptoms which prohibit entry or require quarantine, your payments will not be applied as a Personal Credit.
If you choose to leave before the end of your scheduled stay, we are not responsible for refunding or crediting any amount of your payment or any other costs incurred.
If we cancel your stay due to inclement weather, international travel bans, epidemics or pandemics or any other reason, we will issue a Personal Credit to your account and work with you to reschedule in the future. Reference “Inclement Weather, International Travel Banks, Epidemics and Pandemics” section for further details. In the event of Inclement Weather, International Travel Bans, Epidemics and Pandemics that affect either our guests’ travel or our ability to host your stay, we refer to our recommendations above encouraging you to purchase travel insurance of your choice to cover the cost of your affected travel expenses. If we must cancel your stay because of the aforementioned:
Inclement Weather: We would evaluate the extent to which the area of your stay has been affected and the amount of repair work needed to get up and running again. We retain the right to seek alternate accommodations and reschedule guests to a future date.
International Travel Bans: If the country or state our guest is traveling from has been declared as banned from entry into Jamaica for any reason for an indefinite period, we will work with the guest to transfer their payments to another stay up to 12 months in the future, based upon existing openings and the guest’s availability. If we have a guest that has arrived from a country that is under a declared travel ban, we are obligated to report this fact to appropriate government agencies and follow the government’s direction. If a guest is required to leave for non-compliance with a travel ban, we will not issue a refund or Personal Credit.
Epidemic and Pandemics: If there is an Epidemic and/or Pandemic, we adhere to the current policies of governing bodies, including but not limited to the Jamaica Ministry of Health and Wellness in conjunction with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO).
Any required medical screening, testing, immunizations, including PCR test results, necessary for travel and/or entry into, or departure from, Jamaica are the responsibility of the guest. Any guest who has not complied with these requirements, is not able to board, displays symptoms, or is otherwise barred from entering Jamaica will not be entitled to a refund or Personal Credit.
We also reserve the right to modify your stay to adhere to government-issued policies, including compliance with personal protection requirements, social distancing, quarantine, private vs. shared accommodation directives and any other government requirement. Any guest that fails to comply with government-issued safety protocols and other directives will be asked to leave at their own expense and will not be eligible for a refund or Personal Credit.
Refunds will not be issued. However, we will issue a Personal Credit under limited circumstances. We will work with the guest to transfer their payments to another stay up to 12 months in the future only under the following circumstances:
If the Jamaica Ministry of Health and Wellness, CDC, WHO or any other applicable governing body declares a “necessary travel only” warning for the guest’s origin of departure or restrict access to Jamaica from the guest’s origin of departure.
We must cancel your stay based upon our evaluation of the number of guests unable to travel, government restrictions, issues of safety or other reasons.
Any price variance will be adjusted to the price of the stay ultimately attended, including upgrade fees to private rooms where government protocols prohibit shared rooms.
We will not tolerate any harassment, violence, attack or threats from our guests, staff, or team toward other guests, staff, and team, as well as towards any locals, on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease. We are committed in all areas to providing an environment that is free from harassment. We will not tolerate any kind of discrimination that creates a hostile and unpleasant environment for employees, team, staff, guests or locals.
All staff and guests are expected and required to abide by this policy. Any breach of this policy may lead to immediate removal from the property. We reserve the right to deny service to any person for any of the above actions without payment refunds or compensation for any relocation expenses incurred by the guest.
